PUBLIC NOTICE: Public Hearing on Proposed Local Law
PLEASE
TAKE NOTICE that the Village Board of the Village of East Nassau has introduced
and proposed for adoption Local Law No. 1 of 2022, which provides for the
administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention
and Building Code and the State Energy Conservation Construction Code in the
Village of East Nassau. Due to recent changes to the Codes, municipalities are
required to update their local laws. If adopted this Local Law will repeal and
replace Local Law No. 5 of 2006 of the Village of East Nassau which is
currently the authority for local Code administration and enforcement.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Village Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Law No. 1 of 2022 on December 14, 2022, at 6:45 pm at the at the Hoags Corners Ambulance Building, located at 19 Town Garage Road, in Hoags Corners, Village of East Nassau, at which time and place all those wishing to comment on the proposed Local Law will have an opportunity to be heard. Written comments will also be accepted at that time and place. A copy of the proposed Local Law is available for review on the Village website, villageofeastnassau.org.
